What are the connection methods for concrete pumps and ducts?

November 08, 2018

We are no stranger to the concrete pump, but the connection between the concrete pump outlet and the conveying pipe is afraid that few people can say it completely. So, if you want to talk about the connection between the concrete pump and the pipeline, what can you say?

To be precise, there are three ways to connect the concrete pump to the delivery pipe. The three connections are direct connection, U-connection and I-connection.

Direct connection: The conveying pipe is in line with the commercial concrete conveying pump.

U-shaped connection: 180° connection, the outlet of the pump is connected to the conveying pipe through two 90° elbows.

Type I connection: The outlet of the pump is connected to the delivery pipe through a 90° elbow, which is perpendicular to the commercial concrete pump.

Why do you need to use three different connection methods? In fact, because the three different connection methods have their own advantages and disadvantages, so the specific case of the specific sea is specifically analyzed.

When direct connection is used, the pumping resistance is small, but the reaction force of the commercial concrete pump is large;

The pumping resistance of the U-shaped connection is large, but the reaction force of the commercial concrete pump is small;

When the L-shaped connection is used, the pumping resistance and the reaction force of the pump are between the above two conditions, but the commercial concrete pump produces lateral vibration.
