High-shear cement slurry mixer
This high-shear cement slurry mixer utilises a high-speed impeller operating at approximately 1,500 rpm, which rapidly circulates water, cement and other additives within the mixing drum, generating strong shearing and dispersing effects. This effectively breaks up lumps of powder, resulting in a more uniform and stable slurry, thereby creating optimal conditions for subsequent pumping and grouting.
Cement slurry mixers achieve uniform mixing of cement, bentonite and sand-containing slurry through high-speed shearing, thereby reducing clumping and sedimentation, and providing stable and efficient slurry preparation solutions for tunnels, foundations, micro-piles, anchor bolts and water conservancy projects.

Equipped with a 400-litre mixing drum, this cement slurry mixer has a single-batch mixing time of approximately 3 minutes, making it suitable for small- to medium-scale and continuous grouting operations. Compared to standard mixers with insufficient capacity, it reduces downtime caused by frequent batching; at the same time, compared to large stationary mixing plants, its more compact design facilitates easier deployment in tunnels, mines, on slopes and at construction sites with limited space.

The high-shear cement slurry mixer can be used to prepare:
Ordinary cement slurry
Cement–bentonite slurry
Cement and fly ash mixed slurry
Grouting materials containing a certain proportion of fine sand
Engineering slurries with added admixtures such as water-reducing agents and retarders

The cement slurry mixer is fitted with a 10 Hp diesel engine, which provides stable power for the high-speed mixing system. For projects requiring frequent relocation between construction sites, the diesel-powered solution minimises the need for cable laying and temporary power supply arrangements, thereby reducing the time required to bring the equipment on-site.
For projects requiring prolonged continuous grouting, a storage and mixing tank can be added behind the cement slurry mixer. Once the first batch of slurry enters the storage tank, the mixer can immediately begin preparing the next batch, whilst the storage tank continues to supply material to the grouting pump.

This ‘high-speed slurry preparation + low-speed slurry storage + grouting pumping’ operating mode reduces equipment downtime whilst minimising the risk of slurry sedimentation or segregation during construction. It is particularly suitable for continuous operations such as tunnel curtain grouting, dam seepage control, micro-pile grouting and foundation reinforcement.
