Cement Slurry Hose Pump for Dam Grouting Applications
In dam foundation reinforcement, seepage prevention curtains, crack repair, and underground cavity filling projects, cement slurry has a certain viscosity and abrasiveness, thus requiring stable, wear-resistant, and non-clogging conveying equipment. The Cement Slurry Hose Pump can be used for the conveying, circulation, and continuous supply of cement slurry.
1. Working Principle
The hose pump continuously squeezes a reinforced hose using rollers or pressure shoes, creating suction and propelling the slurry forward. The material only contacts the inner wall of the hose, eliminating the need for complex valves and mechanical seals. It is suitable for conveying:
Ordinary cement slurry;
Cement-bentonite slurry;
Cement-fly ash slurry;
Ultra-fine cement slurry;
Grouting materials containing fine particles.

2. Dam Grouting Applications
The Cement grout hose pump is mainly suitable for:
Dam foundation consolidation grouting;
Seepage prevention curtain engineering grout supply;
Dam crack and joint repair;
Grouting for gallery and tunnel backfilling;
Filling of underground cavities and rock fissures;
Slurry transfer between mixing tanks and grouting pumps.
For high-pressure, deep-hole grouting, a hose pump can be used for continuous grout supply, followed by final injection by a high-pressure plunger pump.
3. Main Advantages
Suitable for viscous, abrasive cement slurries;
Strong self-priming capability, convenient feeding;
No complex valve assembly, low risk of clogging;
Flow rate can be adjusted via a frequency converter;
Supports forward and reverse rotation, facilitating discharge and cleaning;
Main wear part is the pump pipe, simple maintenance;
Enables continuous and stable slurry delivery.

4. Key Selection Parameters
When selecting a hose pump for dam grouting, the following should be carefully considered:
Cement slurry formulation and water-cement ratio;
Slurry density, viscosity, and particle size;
Required hourly delivery volume;
Working pressure;
Horizontal distance and vertical height;
Daily continuous working time;
Local voltage and frequency.

5. Use and Maintenance
After construction, the pump pipe and delivery pipeline should be cleaned immediately to prevent cement slurry solidification. Routine checks are also necessary to inspect pump pipe wear, roller compression, lubrication status, and pipeline joints to ensure stable equipment operation and extend pump pipe life.
6. Customized Solutions
We can customize flow rates, pressures, pump pipe sizes, motors, frequency converters, and mobile chassis according to the specific dam grouting requirements, and provide delivery hoses, connectors, and wear parts. Our engineers can also assist in configuring mixers, storage tanks, and grouting pumps, providing customers with complete cement slurry preparation and delivery solutions.
