Project Background
After five years of operation, the refractory lining of the rotary kiln at a large German cement plant exhibited localized erosion and spalling, which affected the kiln’s normal operation.
Equipment Selection
The client selected our HWZ-3ER electric refractory gunite machine. This equipment utilizes an ABB variable frequency drive with an output range of 1 m³/h to 3 m³/h. A high-pressure water pump is employed to supply water at higher pressure to the nozzle assembly. Since the kiln does not need to be fully cooled down, the system perfectly meets the client’s core requirements of minimizing downtime and enhancing construction convenience.
April 2026: Production of the 8 refractory gunite machines has been completed. Our engineers conducted on-site commissioning, focusing on the stability of dry powder delivery to ensure the equipment is suitable for the high-temperature dry spraying environment of cement kilns.
These 8 refractory gunite machines are scheduled to be shipped to Germany to assist the customer in completing their cement rotary kiln dry spraying repair project.
